Moscarillo’s of West Hartford is looking for a friendly and outgoing cashier to join our talented team who was listed in America’s Top 100 Garden Centers”. You’ll primarily be responsible for assisting customers with completing their purchases and providing them with a lasting positive impression.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing and finalizing customers’ sales accurately through our POS system.
- Greeting customers with a friendly and personable attitude.
- Pricing incoming gift and hardgoods shipments.
- Flexibility to work on other projects around the store or nursery if needed.
The ideal candidate will have these qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.

Job Duties:
- Meet with clients on properties to talk through possible construction projects.
- Work with Buyers to provide accurate estimates for work
- Work with Foreman to ensure project vision is achieved
- Working with design and estimating software to deliver timely proposals to clients
This position would be seasonal with the months of January and February off and working March-December.
